General Questions
Q: What types of fishing charters do you offer?
A: We offer a variety of charters, including inshore, offshore, half-day, full-day, and custom private trips.
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned angler, we have something for you.
Q: Where are you located?
A: Island Charters operates out of 16th Street on the harbour side, with easy access to some of the best fishing waters in the region.
Q: What should I bring with me on the charter?
A: We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, snacks, drinks, and weather-appropriate clothing. A cooler is helpful if you plan to take home your catch, however we also provide a cooler for while on the vessel.

Q: How do I book a trip?

Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?
A: Yes. A deposit of $200 is required to secure your reservation.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept payments through PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle, or Cash.
Trip Details
Q: What time does the charter leave and return?
A: Departure times vary depending on the type of charter booked. Exact times will be confirmed in your booking email.
Q: Is fishing/diving gear provided?
A: Yes! All rods, reels, bait, tackle, swim fins, goggles, and safety equipment are provided at no extra cost.
Q: Can I keep what I catch?
A: Yes, as long as it complies with state and federal regulations. Your captain will advise on what can legally be kept.
Q: Will you clean the fish for us?
A: Fish cleaning services are usually available after the trip. Please ask your captain during the charter.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad?
A: Your safety is our priority. If weather conditions are unsafe, we may reschedule your trip or issue a full refund.
Q: Are children allowed on the charter?
A: Absolutely! We welcome families and children. Please let us know in advance if children will be on board so we can prepare accordingly.
Q: Is alcohol allowed on board?
A: Yes
Q: Will I get seasick?
A: It depends on the individual. If you’re prone to motion sickness, we recommend taking over-the-counter medication an hour before departure.
